1985. Publix exercised the first
of four 5-year options effective May 2005.

Rockledge is located on North US
Highway 1 and is the primary groceryanchored
center serving Rockledge.
Rockledge's location on US 1 is enhanced by its access. The main entrance is a signalized
entrance and has a turn lane allowing a left hand turn into the center. In addition, there are
two other entrances, both on US 1. One entrance is north of the main entrance and one is
south of the main entrance. Both of these entrances allow for right in, right out, and have a
curb cut for left hand turns into the center.
SR 520 on Merritt Island is the primary retail corridor serving Rockledge and Merritt Island.
The highest concentration of community and non-grocery anchored centers is along SR 520.
On the mainland, there are only two other grocery-anchored centers approximately three miles
south of Rockledge Square. This lack of immediate grocery-anchored competition highlights
Rockledge Square as a stable and desirable investment.
